We wouldn’t have to come out as gay if people assumed everyone was gay!

Sorry, kid sis, but straights don’t have to walk around saying, “I’m straight,” because people assume everyone is straight.

Sometimes parents say shitty things when we 1st come out. It’s important 2 forgive your parents when they finally come around.

Important for gay people to model the love and acceptance we want to see from our families and friends.

To friends & family who ask “Are you sure?” Yes, we’re sure. By time we come out, we’ve been thinking about it a LONG TIME.

Thinking of Greg, Vanessa & Aydian tonight—the brave LGBT youth who shared their stories in first “It Gets Better” special.

So much at stake coming out 2 important people in our lives—fear of rejection can be paralyzing. Rooting for Vecente!

Lots of LGBT people come out 2 less important people in our lives B4 working up courage 2 come out 2 most important people.

“I don’t really watch football. Don’t really have an opinion on it.” That’s a good way to come out to your roomates!

Coming out not the solution 2 all your problems. It’s the beginning of new ones, better ones, solvable ones. That make sense?
